Two layer reduction woodcut, 9×7”, 2024, printed on Stonehenge “White”, edition of 20.

A car drawn from imagination with heavy black shadows and red highlights to create a dramatic visual effect. Reduction print meaning both layers were printed from the same block at different stages in the carving. I used pin and tab registration to perfectly align the layers which allowed me to print the black layer twice. This resulted in a very rich, velvety black that appears to sit on top of the paper as opposed to soaking in. Slight embossing can be seen on the back.
