This image comes from when I moved out of my last studio and temporarily into my mom’s basement. I had so much stuff that I needed to do and I was surrounded by all the clutter of my living and work spaces. It was too much to handle so to cope with it all and to avoid being home and confronting the situation I became even more deeply obsessed with fishing.

The image represents me sitting in my flooded bedroom surrounded by boxes and clutter and hypnotized by the ripples in the water while waiting indefinitely for a bite.
